In the coming days, some states may witness a series of bank holidays for as many as four consecutive days in the coming week.
In Karnataka, banks are closed on Oct 22, 23 and 24. This is followed by Sunday on Oct 25 and again a close on Oct 27.
Bank holidays differ from state to state depending on the culture and trend followed in that particular state.

On Oct 22: Banks are closed on account Ayuda Pooja
October 23: There is a holiday for Vijayadashami
October 24: Moharam, again a bank holiday
October 25: Sunday will be as usual closed
October 27: Bank will closed on account of Valmiki Jayanti

Individuals with financial commitments should withdraw the amount before hand. In case of transferring of funds via NEFT or RTGS should be done before bank holidays kick start.
Also keep in mind that repeated cash withdrawal in a single month will attract withdrawal charges from ATMs. So plan your funds and withdraw accordingly.
