What is Bihar Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana 2026?
The scheme encourages youngsters, women and people from SC/ST/OBC/Minorities in the state to start their own business or small industries. Under the scheme, applicants can get financial assistance of up to Rs 10 lakh, including of Rs 5 lakh subsidy and an interest-free loan of Rs 5 lakh. Applicants can repay the amount in easy installments.

The projects approved under the scheme can receive up to Rs 10 lakh. Half of the scheme amount is treated as subsidy, and the beneficiaries are required to repay half of the amount, up to Rs 5 lakh.

The interest rules for the Bihar Mukhyamantri Udyam Yojana 2026 offers relaxation to women, SC, ST and other categories of applicants. For youth from the general category applying under the Youth Entrepreneur component, a simple interest of 1 percent is charged.

To apply for the Bihar Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana 2026, applicants must first be permanent residents of Bihar. The age bracket is fixed between 18 and 50 years at the time of application. Only those who have passed Class 12 are eligible, though holders of ITI certificates or Polytechnic Diplomas also meet the education requirement.

-Visit https://udyami.bihar.gov.in
-Choose the MMUY option in the login or registration section.
-Click on "Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana", open the registration form and enter their Aadhaar number and other details.
-Once you mention the required details, and proceed, you will receive an OTP to the mobile number linked to Aadhaar card.
-Enter the OTP to complete registration.
-Log in again using the Aadhaar-linked mobile number, access the detailed form, and fill in personal details, educational background, category information, and select a specific project from the given list.
