The Election Commission's brand new mobile application ECINET app to offer a wide range of services to voter without juggling between different websites and platforms for Lok Sabha, Vidhan Sabha or any other bypolls. The one-stop application offers a range of services including electoral roll search, voter registration, know your candidate, etc.
The trial version of Election Commission's ECINET App was rolled out in January 2026. The application is now available for download on Google Play Store and Apple Store.
What is EC's ECINET App?
ECINET App is a one stop platform for all the requirement of voters. The app is meant to connect citizens, candidates, political parties, election officials, etc. It offers improved voter services, quicker availability of polling percentage trends and publication of index cards in less than two days.

What Are The Key Features Of ECINET App?
The ECINET application offers key services like voter registration, electoral roll search, 'track your application', 'know our candidate', 'connect with election officials', etc.
Voters can also use the ECINET application to 'book-a-call with the BLO', they can use the app to check near-realtime polling trends, opt for grievance redressal services, etc.
As per the government, the app was successfully tested during the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 as well as subsequent bye elections.
Earlier, citizens had to use many separate mobile and web tools for different election tasks. With ECINET, the Election Commission says more than 40 earlier services now sit inside one integrated "super app". These include voter enrolment, correction of details, access to digital voter cards and tools for reporting problems during polling or campaigning.
ECINET application will also let new voters and non-resident Indains to submit applications using Form 6 and Form 6 A directly on their phones.
How To Use ECINET Application?
-Downlaod the ECINET application from Google Playstore or Apple store.
-Log in using credentials.
-You can use the mobile app services like to get voter registration forms, track the status of these applications after filing, register complaints, search your name in the voter list, download e-voter card (e-EPIC), or connect with election officials.
-Users can also get information about election candidates, details of current election, or check real-time voter turnout on voting day.

The ECINET platform also hosts the cVIGIL service, which allows users to quickly flag suspected breaches of the Model Code of Conduct. Complaints can be filed from the field with supporting evidence. On polling days, the app shows live turnout trends, so people can see how much voting has taken place in different areas in real time.
