The members of the employees provident fund organisation (EPFO) have EPF i grievance management system provided by EPFO to register their complaints. This website can be used to make complaints about EPF withdrawals, EPF account transfers and other concerns related to the account. The members of EPF can file a complaint, check status and send reminders about their complaint. Lets learn the full process of filling a complaint, checking status and sending reminders.
What is the EPF Grievance Management System?
EPF Grievance Management System,an official portal of EPFO whose aim is to solve grievances and complaints related to the services provided by EPFO. Complaints can be lodged anywhere in the country and will come to the concerned office. Complaints can be filed directly to the head office or the 135 field offices across the country.
Features of EPF Grievance Management System
- Complaint or Grievance can be filled by PF member, EPS Pensioner, Employer and OthMultiple OF numbers in UAN can lodge the complaint.
- Facility of sending reminders
- Checking status of grievance
- Providing Feedback on your grievance
- Providing one or more documents related to grievance
- Availability of epfigms on UMANG App to avail EPFO services.
Process to file a complaint a EPF related problems
- Go to the official website (https://epfigms.gov.in/).
- Select register grievance
- Choose status for filing your complaint such as PF member, EPF pensioner, etc.
- Enter UAN Password and Security code
- Click on Get Details, now your details will be displayed on the screen.
- After that Click on Get OTP, an OTP will be generated
- Enter the OTP sent to your registered mail id and mobile number.
- Now click on submit.
- After OTP verification, you will have to enter your personal information.
- Choose the PF account number
- Select grievance category
- Enter grievance description.
- Upload all documents related to the complaint
- Click on submit
A registration number will be sent to both registered Mail ID and mobile number.
Process to check the Status of the filled Complaint
- Go to the official website (https://epfigms.gov.in/).
- choose the 'View Status'. option.
- Now enter the registration number
- Enter password or mobile number / email id.
- Enter the security code.
- Click On submit
After submitting, the complaint status will be displayed on the screen with the details of the office and officer dealing with the complaint.

How to send reminders about the complaint
You can send a reminder after 30 days of filing the complaint to get a follow up about the complaint.
- Go to the official website (https://epfigms.gov.in/).
- Choose 'reminder' option
- Enter registration number
- Enter password or mobile number, mail id
- Enter security code
- Click on submit
A reminder about your filled complaint will be sent.
