Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has launched a common number for placing the request for or booking Indane LPG refill in an attempt to provide convenience to its customers. So, PAN India, the number for booking LPG refills is 7718955555. The service on the number can be availed
round the clock. "The current system of telecom circle-specific phone numbers for booking Indane LPG refills will be discontinued after 31.10.2020 midnight and the common booking number for LPG refills i.e. 7718955555, will be in force," said ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas in a release.

This common number for booking LPG refills via SMS and IVRS is an important measure aimed at improving customer convenience and offer ease in booking the refills.
Now even if a consumer moves from one telecom circle to the other, the Indane cooking gas booking number remains the same. For making a booking for Indane LPG refills, customers' mobile number needs to be registered with the state-run oil marketing company.
Now here is given:
New method of Indane LPG refill booking from the customer's registered mobile number
1. Over the IVRS, you will be first asked to choose the language i.e. English, Hindi or any other. Then Indane customer will be asked to give out the 16-digit consumer ID. Note this ID is found on the LPG invoices or subscription voucher.
2. And as and when the customer confirms the same, booking for the refill will be accepted by the system.
Process to order LPG refill booking in case customers' mobile number is not registered with Indane
On the same number 7718955555, after the consumer selects the language, he or she will be asked as to whether they want the same number to be registered as their personal number on the Indane network. On selecting the same, the system will then ask the 16-digit customer ID.
Thereupon the customer's mobile number will be registered in the Indane system and request for LPG refill be taken.
