InFinity Forum- India's beyond-Boundaries FinTech Event

As the Indian economy is growing and touching new heights with achievements creating ways to new opportunities in Financial Technologies. InFinity Forum by the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) is one of the modern days FinTech raised out of this digital growth in the last two decades.

Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the InFinity Forum on December 03, 2021, in the presence of various respectable industrialists and foreign dignities. While speaking on the event he said, "The history of a currency shows tremendous evolution. As humans evolved, so did the form of our transactions. From barter system to metals, from coins to notes, From cheques to cards, Today we have reached here". This evolution of currency shows the potential of growth in the new age currency, and how it could help the world reach new heights in the FinTech world.

IFSCA - The Governing body

Under the International Financial Services Centres Authority Act of 2019, the IFSCA was founded on April 27, 2020. Its headquarters is in Gandhinagar, Gujarat's GIFT City.

The IFSCA is a single body in India that is responsible for the creation and regulation of financial goods, financial services, and financial institutions. The GIFT IFSC is India's first international financial services centre.

Prior to the formation of IFSCA, the business in IFSC was controlled by the domestic financial authorities such as the RBI, SEBI, PFRDA, and IRDAI. The dynamic nature of business in the IFSCAs necessitates a high level of inter-regulatory coordination within the financial sector, the IFSCA was created as a unified regulator with a holistic vision to promote ease of doing business in the IFSCs and provide a world-class regulatory environment.

What is Infinity Forum?

InFinity Forum is the IFSCA 's flagship financial technology event launched in partnership with GIFT and Bloomberg for bringing together the world's top minds in business, policy, and technology to explore and advance the most important ideas in financial technology and to turn those ideas into global solutions and opportunities.

What Infinity Forum offers?

Under the InFinity Forum, IFSCA will offer unique opportunities to the Next-Generation, young minds particularly Students from Universities to define and show their ideas, thoughts, leadership at Infinity Forum.

Students who will participate in the initiative will be awarded the e-certificate of participation, 100 best entries would be awarded e-certificate of appreciation, and the top 5 finalists would be displayed in IFSCA's hall of fame for over one year, also they might be considered for an internship at IFSAC.

Indonesia, South Africa, and the United Kingdom joined as partner countries of the forum. While NITI Aayog, FICCI, NASSCOM, and Invest India, a National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency joined the forum as domestic partners.
