Paytm is a digital payment platform that allows users to instantly transfer money to anyone using the Paytm wallet. Using the Paytm Wallet, you can send money digitally to anyone at no cost. Paytm's app and website can be used to pay for online recharges, utility bill payments, movie tickets, and travel tickets. To use your Paytm Wallet, you must have a minimum KYC. You can still use Paytm for UPI money transfers and purchases using credit/debit cards and net banking if you do not meet the minimum KYC requirements. How to check KYC status in Paytm?
Step 1: Open the Paytm App.
Step 2: Then, in the left-hand navigation panel, tap on your name.
Step 3: The status of your KYC will be displayed on the screen.
A blue tick-mark will appear next to your name if your KYC has been completed.
How to activate the Paytm wallet?
Step 1: Open the Paytm app
Step 2: Now, in the top right corner of the screen, tap on the Profile icon.
Step 3: Next, select 'Create a New Account.
Step 4: Enter your information, such as your phone number, email address, and password.
Step 5: Select 'Create a New Account'.
Step 6: Enter an OTP sent to the mobile number.
Step 7: After entering the OTP, click 'Submit,' and then enter your First Name, Last Name, and DOB.
Step 8: Select 'Create Account'.
Your account will be created.
Eligibility for KYC
According to our current procedure, all Indian citizens, Indian residents, and Tax residents of India and no other country over the age of 18 are eligible for KYC. We will soon make KYC available to minors and foreign residents.

How much time does it take to complete KYC verification?
After our authorised representative has completed your in-person verification, it will take another 2-3 working days to complete your full KYC verification.
How to know that minimum KYC is complete and when it will expire?
If your minimum KYC is completed, a KYC icon will appear on the Paytm Home Page's Blue Strip at the top. By tapping on this icon, you can view information about your minimum KYC expiry date. This screen will notify you if your minimum KYC has expired.
