1. Check SBI Account Balance Via SMS Banking: You can use your mobile application to register for SBI SMS service and use it to check your balance. Customers will need to follow the steps given below to register for it:

  • REG (Space) Account Number and send it to 09223488888
  • SBI will send customers a registration confirmation message and they can then check the account balance, get mini statement, place chequebook request, get an e-statement, loan interest certificate, and home loan interest certificate, etc.

2. SBI WhatsApp Banking: SBI introduced WhatsApp Banking service in 2022 that allows customers to check their account balance and secure mini statement as well. Customers need to register for SBI WhatsApp Banking service with the following steps mentioned below:

  • Send SMS WAREG A/C No (917208933148) from your registered mobile number. After registration is complete, you can use SBI's Whatsapp service.
  • After you have been registered, send "Hi" to 909022690226.
  • You will receive option of Account Balance, Mini Statement, De-Register Whatsapp Banking.
  • To check account balance, type 1 and for mini statement, type 2

3. SBI ATM: Customers will have to visit their nearest SBI ATM. They must insert their SBI ATM-cum-debit card, enter 4-digit ATM Pin, and click on "Balance Enquiry" option. Customers may choose "mini statement" option to check the last 10 transactions. When customers generate mini statement at the SBI ATM, they can also check their account balance.

4. Toll Free Number: Customer may also use toll free numbers of the bank to check SBI account balance. Below are the toll-free numbers:

  • Customers need to dial the aforementioned numbers from their registered mobile phone to receive balance details on their mobile number.

6. Net Banking: SBI customers must register for net banking in order to check their SBI account balance. After registering for SBI net banking, they can conveniently access their account simply by filling their SBI netbanking login id and password. The bank provides several banking services that may include balance enquiry, home loans, etc.
