SBI Customers Can Invest In LIC IPO Via SBI YONO App, Check Out How

The Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) IPO is scheduled to launch on 4 May 2022 and will be available for subscription till 9 May 2022. Also, the IPO will be open for anchor investors on 2 May 2022. Despite the reduced size, LIC IPO will still be the largest IPO in the history of the IPO in the country.

LIC IPO size will be around Rs 21,000 crore. The IPO comprises an offer for sale up to Rs 20,557 crore where the Central government will sell its 3.5% stake.

A total number of 22.10 crore equity shares are set to be offered under the issue. The price band of LIC IPO is set at Rs 902 to Rs 949 per equity share.

The government has kept 10% reserved for the LIC policyholders under the policyholder category. However, to apply for LIC IPO policyholders have to link their PAN with their LIC policies and also hold a valid Demat Account for subscribing to IPO.

Last month, On Saturday, 30 April 2022, SBI tweeted saying, "Start your investment journey today!" It added, "Open your Demat and trading account on YONO now with no account opening charges and DP AMC completely waived off for the first year. Download YONO now!"

Here is how you can register at SBI YONO App for Demat & Trading Account

Step1: Open the SBI YONO App on your smartphone
Step 2: Login on the YONO SBI app using credentials
Step 3: Under the main menu, go to the Investment section
Step 4: Click on Open Demat & Trading Account
Step 5: Enter all the required
Step 6: Click on 'Confirm'.
