Do you want to make using your credit card more convenient? Simply enter your Credit Card information into a UPI app and enjoy the convenience of having everything at your fingertips. Payments could initially be made from a bank account by linking it to UPI. However, later UPI apps began to allow users to add credit and debit cards in order to make payments to merchants. As a result, you cannot use your UPI linked card to make payments to individuals (non-merchants). With the RBI and the government attempting to make digital payments easier and faster than ever before, UPI Payment via Credit Cards is a significant step forward.
By adding a credit or debit card to UPI apps, users can make payments without having to swipe their card at a POS machine. To make a payment, simply scan a QR code and select the added credit/debit card as a payment method. When you make a payment using a debit or credit card through the UPI app, a one-time password (OTP) is sent to your registered mobile number to complete the transaction. Here's how you can pay via credit or debit card using UPI.
