How to get the E-Passbook facility

• Register on EPFO portal (https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/)
• Click on Activate your UAN under important links
• Fill out all the details such as UAN, member ID,Aadhaar number,etc.
• An authentication pin will be generated
• Enter the pin and UAN will be activated
• After the registration is complete within 6 hours your E- passbook will be available.
• Now log in
• Click on Download E-passbook option
• Fill out the required details like PF code, account number,etc.
• A pin will be generated and sent to the registered mobile number.
• After verification, you can download your E- passbook within three days.

How is the passbook updated?

As soon as a contribution is made to the employee's account, EPFO updates the employee's EPF passbook. The passbook does not, however, mention the date.
