Market remained unchanged
The market remained unchanged. Nifty looming around 6000 level. The Sensex was up 61.27 points, the Nifty was up 19.90 points

Nifty hovering around 6000 level
The Nifty was hovering around 6000 level. Metal, FMCG and telecom companies' shares along with L&T, SBI, Wipro, Sun Pharma, NTPC, Hero Honda and DLF were on buyers' radar and supported market.

AT 1:25 am, the 30-share BSE Sensex was trading at 20055.40 up 72.25 points and the 50-share NSE Nifty was 6005.25 up 25.25 points.

Tata Steel, SBI, Hero Honda were found most active in trading.

Siemens,Sun Pharma, Ambuja Cements, Suzlon Energy, were the top gainers.

Markets begin on weak not; Asian cues mild
Following weak Asian cues, the markets began on a mild weak note on Friday, Dec 24. Bit of volatility has also been observed in the markets.

AT 9:28 am, the 30-share BSE Sensex was trading at 19,909, down 73 points and the 50-share NSE Nifty fell 21 points to 5,958.

ABB, L&T, HUL, ITC, Siemens and SBI, who among the frontliners, were witnessing buying interest.

However, M&M, Bharti Airtel and ONGC were on sellers' radar.

Midcap & Smallcap space:

Ashok Leyland, Arvind, Mahindra Satyam and Kingfisher Airlines were down 0.7-1.2 percent.

Kirloskar Oil Enginers listed at Rs 202.2 a share.
