Trading on -ve note; Nifty 6000 level
The Nifty dipped gains and reached 6000 level. Led by sell-off in metal, telecom, Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, select power and financial companies' shares. Reliance Industries, L&T and ITC were also under pressure.
At 2:35 am, the Sensex was trading at 20053.42, down 75 points and the Nifty was at 6000.25 down 11.35 points.
Most active in the market were, Tata Motors, SBI, Tata Steel, Reliance Comm
Top gainers were Dr Reddys Labs up 1.55 percent, Ambuja Cements up 1.85 percent, Sun Pharma up 1.23 percent and Tata Power up 0.99 percent.
Top losers were Reliance Comm down 2.85 percent, SAIL down 3.90 percent, Sterlite Ind down 2.41 percent, and Bharti Airtel down 1.91 percent.

Sensex trades with +Ve bias; FMCG, tech up
Following the support of the technology, oil & gas, capital goods, healthcare, cement, FMCG and ICICI Bank, DLF, SBI and PNB's support, BSE Sensex was trading in a tight range of 20,100-20,190 with positive bias.
At 11:54 am, the Sensex was trading at 20149, with gain of 75 points and the Nifty was at 6033, up 21.5 points. Breadth was positive; about 888 shares advanced while 369 shares declined on NSE.
ICICI Bank, TCS, DLF, Tata Power, Jaiprakash Associates, Dr Reddy'ss Labs, Ambuja Cements, Sun Pharma and Sesa , who among the frontliners, moved up to 1-2.5 percent.
However, Reliance Communications, Reliance Infrastructure, Sterlite Industries, Tata Steel, Bharti Airtel, SAIL and Power Grid Corp slipped 0.5-2 percent.

Market opens on +ve note
The market began on positive note. Buying was seen in capital goods, oil & gas exploration, power, select financial and FMCG companies' shares.
AT 10:45 am, the 30-share BSE Sensex was trading at 20162.72 up 89.06 points and the 50-share NSE Nifty was 6036.40 up 24.80 points.
Most active in the market were, Tata Motors, SBI, Tata Steel, Reliance Comm
Top gainers were Dr Reddys Labs up 2.35 percent, Ambuja Cements up 1.99 percent, Sun Pharma up 1.66 percent and Suzlon Energy up 1.46 percent.
Top losers were Reliance Comm down 2.85 percent, SAIL down 1.43 percent, Sterlite Ind down 1.19 percent, and Reliance Power down 1.09 percent.
