Sensex held above 20500 level and Nifty was looming around 6100 level at closing.

Financial, capital goods, Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, FMCG, metal, realty, auto and power companies' shares were supporting the markets.

At 5:00 pm, 30-share BSE Sensex was trading at 20509.09 with gain of 120.02 points and the 50-share NSE Nifty went up just 32.65 points to 6134.50.

Nifty at 6100 level
The Sensex was hovering around 20,500 level. Nifty held at 6100 mark, it further dipped 50 points.

Financial, capital goods, Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, FMCG, metal, realty, auto and power companies' shares were supporting the markets.

At 3.00 pm, 30-share BSE Sensex was trading at 20502.74 with gain of 113.67 points and the 50-share NSE Nifty went up just 31.65 points to 6133.50.

Sensex keeps uptrend-above 20500 level
The Sensex maintained the uptrend and was trading above 20500 level. The Nifty was at 6450 level. The Nifty shares shed 50 points during afternoon.

Market opens on +ve note
The market opened on a positive note. The BSE Sensex was trading 0.2 percent up. The Nifty was above 6128 level.

At 10:40 pm, 30-share BSE Sensex was trading at 20507.58 with gain of 118.51 points and the 50-share NSE Nifty went up just 17.15 points to 6119.00.
