
Hindalco, Mah and Mah, BHEL and TCS, who among the top gainers, were at 4.25 percent, 2.88 percent, 2.82 percent and 2.76 percent up respectively.
Maruti Suzuki, Bajaj Auto, HUL and Reliance, who among the top losers, were at 0.60 percen, 0.42 percen, 0.30 percen and 0.25 percen down respectively.

Sensex continues trading on +Ve note
At 3:25 pm, the 30-share BSE Sensex was trading at 18,356, up 150 points and the 50-share NSE Nifty went up 42 points to 5,521. About 826 shares advanced as against 460 shares declined on National Stock Exchange.
However, selling continued in heavyweight Reliance Industries on the back of profit booking. Cairn, Maruti, Dr Reddy's Labs, Bajaj Auto, Sun Pharma, Sesa Goa, Tata Steel, Reliance Infrastructure, Reliance Communications and ACC were other losers.
However, Shree Global, Hathway Cable, KGN Industries, Kirloskar Oil and Dewan Housing fell 3-8 percent.

Sensex 134 pts up; Nifty above 5500 mark
At 12:30 pm, the 30-share BSE Sensex went up 134 points to 18,340 followed by the broader indices, with rising around 0.5-0.8 percent. About 1598 shares advanced as against 1007 shares declined on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The 50-share NSE Nifty was trading in a tight range of 5505 - 5528 at higher levels; gained 37 points at 5,517 at 12:11 hours. Market veteran Vibhav Kapoor of IL&FS believes the Nifty will continue to trade between 5,200 and 5,600.
Among frontliners, BHEL, Hindalco, TCS, M&M and Wipro were top gainers, with gaining 1.8-3 percent. However, Maruti Suzuki, Bajaj Auto, Reliance Infrastructure, HDFC, GAIL and Cairn India were witnessing selling pressure.

Sensex adds 150 pts at opening trade
Markets continued its last days gaining as Sensex added more 150 points during the opening trade on Thursday, Mar 24. NSE Nifty also held the 5500 mark at the early trade.
At 11:16 am, the 30-share BSE Sensex gained 135 points at 18,341 and the 50-share NSE Nifty went up 37 points to 5,517. The broader indices too jumped higher, with the BSE Midcap & Smallcap indices gaining nearly 1 percent.
Heavyweights like TCS and BHEL gained 2-2.5 percent, may be because of value buying. ICICI Bank, Wipro, Tata Motors, L&T, Sterlite and DLF were up 1-1.5 percent.
ITC, Infosys, SBI, HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries were trading with moderate gains. About 40 shares advanced as against 10 shares declined on the NSE Nifty.
However, GAIL, Cairn, HDFC, Dr Reddy's Labs, HUL, Power Grid, ACC, Suzlon Energy and Reliance Infrastructure were losers.
