
The NFO opens on June 10, 2011 and closes on June 24, 2011. The scheme would re-open on 5 July 2011.
The issue price offered for the scheme is Rs 10 per unit.
The minimum application amount is Rs 5,000 and after that additional investment can be made of Rupee 1. For redemptions within 12 months from the date of allotment in respective of purchase made other than through SIP or made through SIP, the exit load charge will be 1%.
The fund targets to collect a minimum subscription of Re 1 crore under the scheme during the NFO period.
The scheme will offer growth option only.
Investment Objective:
The primary investment objective of the scheme is to provide long term capital growth by investing predominantly in JPMorgan Funds - JF ASEAN Equity Fund, an equity fund which invests primarily in companies of countries which are members of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN).
Allocation of funds:
The scheme will allocate 80% to 100% of assets in units/shares of JPMorgan Funds - JF ASEAN Equity Fund with medium to high risk profile. It would further allocate upto 20% of assets in money market instruments and/or units of liquid schemes with low to medium risk profile.
Fund Manager:
Namdev Chougule will be the Fund Manager of this scheme.
Namdev holds a B.E. (Elect), MMS (Finance) and a CFA qualification. He has overall work experience of 9 years and has worked in the financial services sector for over 6 years as a dealer, analyst and fund manager for various leading mutual funds and banks. Prior to joining JPMorgan Asset Management India Private Limited, Namdev worked for a year as a Fixed Income Fund Manager with Lotus India Asset Management Company Private Limited and around 6 months as a Fixed Income Analyst with JM Financial Asset Management Company Limited.
He also manages the JPMorgan JF Greater China Equity Offshore Fund, JPMorgan India Liquid Fund, JPMorgan India Treasury Fund, JPMorgan India Active Bond Fund and JPMorgan India Short Term Income Fund along with the debt portion in JPMorgan India Equity Fund, JPMorgan India Smaller Companies Fund, JPMorgan India Alpha Fund and JPMorgan India Tax Advantage Fund.
