Gold prices have fallen in major cities

With the recent fall in prices of gold on Futures, the prices have also corrected in major cities, this gives a perfect reason to smile to the gold buyers, who specially buy gold in October which is the most auspicious month for the Hindus.

Navratri – a nine days garba festival have already started, that follows Dussehra, Dhanteras and Diwali.

On domestic front, the price of 24 carat gold is seen lowest in Mumbai at Rs 25,680 per 10 grams, followed by Chennai at Rs 26,090 per 10 grams, Bangalore at Rs 26,160 per 10 grams, Delhi at Rs 26,430 per 10 grams and Kolkata at Rs 26,460 per 10 grams.

The price of 22 carat gold is prevailing at Rs 23,930 per 10 grams in Mumbai, Rs 24,010 per 10 grams in Delhi, Rs 24,090 per 10 grams in Kolkata, Rs 24,260 per 10 grams in Bangalore and Rs 24,290 per 10 grams in Chennai.

At MCX, Gold for October delivery opened at Rs 26,080 per 10 grams and was trading in the range of Rs 26,005 – Rs 26,007 per 10 grams at 12:40 pm IST.

And the metal for April delivery opened at Rs 26,825 per 10 grams and was trading in the range of Rs 26,818 – Rs 26,856 per 10 grams same time.
