
At 03.20 pm IST, the 30-share BSE Sensex was at 16184.49 up by 29.87 points or 0.18% and NSE Nifty was trading at 4873.45 up by 7.45 points or 0.15%.
In Asia, all the major markets were trading in red, the Nikkei 225 was down by 121.66 points and was at 8378.36. The Hang Seng was down by 192.22 points and was at 19,012.20. The Shanghai composite was down by 37.95 points and was at 2,206.63.
Among Sectoral indices on BSE, the sectors trading in negative terrain were Oil & gas, health Care, Realty and PSU were bleeding in red.
Consumer goods, IT, TECK, Auto, FMCG in positive terrain, up by 0.85%-2.15%
On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the top volume gainers were Bhel, Maruti, L&T and IDFC posted gains between 2.81%-4.30%
And the top losers in the opening trade were Reliance Power, NTPC, Kotak bank, Cipla and Reliance were top losers.
