The profit after tax stood at Rs 20,040 crore against Rs 20,286 crore Year-on-Year. The company announced the dividend of Rs 8.5 per share.
Revenues from its petchem segment increased 8.25% to Rs 21,412 in this quarter from Rs 19,781 crore in the previous quarter. Net sales during the period surged 33% to Rs 3,29,904 crore from Rs 2,48,170 crore.
The earnings per share (EPS) dropped to Rs 12.9 against Rs 16.4 (Y-o-Y).
Other Income stood at Rs 2,295 crore against 1,717 crore on the quarter on quarter (Q-o-Q).
Shares of the company on Friday closed at Rs 731.45 down 1.39% on BSE.
