12 midcap stocks plunge on fears of margin calls

Shares of select mid cap stocks plunged today, as reports indicate that financiers dumped the shares of almost 12 mid cap stocks including the likes of Pipavav Defence, Parsvnath Developers, Everonn, Radico Khaitan, SRS and Nitin Fire.

At 2.10 pm IST, Pipavav Defence was down 20%, Parsavnath Developers was down 20%, Everonn was down 10% and Radico Khaitan was down 14%.

Reports reveal that operators sold heavily into these stocks on fears that margin calls in these stocks could get triggered.
