Swaminathan D., CEO and MD, Infosys BPO said, "With this addition to the footprint of Infosys BPO operations, our capabilities and domain expertise in Group Life Administration have been significantly enhanced, potentially yielding magnified gains for clients.

"The deal will add about $10-12 million in revenues annually. It further enhances Infosys BPO's positioning as a premier provider of end-to-end, enterprise-wide solutions for the insurance and financial services sector," he said.

The company also plans to recruit 20-25 employees in Des Moines, in the next two-three months, he added.

On Monday, Infosys also announced that it will acquire Lodestone Holding AG, a leading global management consultancy firm for an aggregate enterprise value of $350 million.

Lodestone will add more than 200 clients across industries including Manufacturing, Automotive and Life Sciences, to the Infosys pool of over 700 clients.

The shares of the company was seen trading lower by 0.26% at Rs 2504 on BSE at 10.10 am IST. It touched intra-day low o Rs 2480.
