Shares of MphasiS, a leading Indian IT services company surged after the company posted its financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended 31 October 2012.
Shares of the company rose and was seen trading at Rs 399, higher by 2.85% on BSE at 10.55 am IST. It touched an intra-day high of Rs 404.
The company posted a net profit after tax of Rs 209 crore for the quarter ended October 31, 2012 as compared to Rs. 183 crore for the quarter ended October 31, 2011. Total Income has decreased from Rs 13647crore for the quarter ended October 31, 2011 to Rs 13463 crore for the quarter ended October 31, 2012.
The company's board has recommended dividend of Rs 17 per share. MphasiS is a $1 billion global service provider, delivering technology based solutions to clients across the world.
