Bangalore: Ashok Vemuri, the head of Americas' operations of Infosys who also headed its manufacturing and engineering services globally resigned from his services. Ashok Vemuri, an intellect spearheaded the company's effort to gain market leadership in manufacturing and financial services domains in North America. The transition has been planned and Sanjay Jalona at present the Regional Head for Manufacturing in North America would take over the position of Vemuri.

Infosys, a globally leading company in consulting, outsourcing and technology solutions, that is constantly struggling on account of management instability has been again hit by the exit of Vemuri. It has been reported that Ashok Vemuri thought to be the potential CEO of Infosys would now join iGate as its Chief Executive Officer.
