Shares in Bosch rallied after they were included in the MSCI Emerging Markets Index. MSCI had on announced a revamp in various indices in a quarterly review.
Shares of Bosch were last trading at Rs 25,141, up by 6 per cent in trade. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 25899 earlier this month. It had hit a low of Rs 8867 at the same time last year.
Apart from Bosch India the other two companies that were the three largest additions to the MSCI Emerging Markets Index were Hanssem Co (Korea) and Wan Hai Lines (Taiwan).
Shares in Hathway Cable and Datacom fell 5 per cent after the company's shares were deleted from MSCI small cap indexes.
Bosch India is a well diversified company with interests in a host of areas including automotive, home appliances, industrial, energy and building technology.
