Ten metro stations in the national capital will go completely cashless in their transactions from January 1, 2017.
You don't need to pay cash in metro stations as the metro station are ready to go cashless. Ten stations of the Delhi Metro will go cashless from 1 January by letting commuters recharge smart cards and buy tokens using digital platforms for payments.
For the cashless transactions, commuters will need Paytm app on their smartphones. The commuters at the stations need to scan the QR code with Paytm app on their smartphones.

This will send a message to the token vendor or the customer care operator, who will then issue the token or recharge the card with the desired amount, said the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) in a statement. The new decision has been taken to encourage people to embrace the Centre's vision of a cashless economy
The cashless stations are Rohini east and west, MG Road, Mayur Vihar phase I, Nirmal Vihar, Tilak Nagar, Janakpuri west, Noida sector 15, Nehru Place and Kailash Colony. The Blue line is the Dwarka Sector 21-Noida/Vaishali corridor and Yellow line is the HUDA City Centre-Samaypur Badli.
