The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) stayed an order of the Competition Commission of India (CCI) that imposed a penalty of Rs 136 crore on Google for unfair business practices in the online search market, reports from PTI.

The NCLAT bench headed by its Chairman, Justice S J Mukhopadhaya, while admitting the plea of search engine giant - Google, directed it to deposit 10 percent of the penalty amount within a period of four weeks.
NCLAT had scheduled the matter for further hearing on May 28.
