DDA Housing Scheme 2019 Application Opens; Find Details Here
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has opened its housing scheme for 2019 with over 18,000 new houses available for grabs. These include three-bedroom, two-bedroom and one-bedroom flats in Delhi's Vasant Kunj and Narela areas.

Here are the details on the DDA Housing Scheme 2019 that you should know:
Categories
- 450 HIG (high-income group) category of flats which include 2 or 3 bedroom flats
- 1,550 MIG (middle-income group) category of flats which include 2 bedroom flats
- 8,330 LIG (low-income group) category of flats which include 1 bedroom flats
- 7,700 EWS (economically weaker section) category
Things to know
- The DDA will only be accepting applications online this year. You can apply on the DDA's official website.
- The application fee will have to be paid online and submitted with scanned copies of a latest photograph and signature. The fee has been hiked and ranges from Rs 10,000 to Rs 2 lakh across categories. Janta flat: Rs 10,000, 1 BHK: Rs 15,000, EWS: Rs 25,000, LIG: Rs 1 lakh and MIG/HIG: Rs 2 lakh.
- Flats in the MIG category range from Rs 70 to 80 lakh and those in the HIG are priced from Rs 1.5 to 2 crore.
- The application amount of unsuccessful applicants will be refunded.
- Those applying for more than one category will have to pay the highest fee of the two categories.
- The DDA will communicate with the applicant over the email address and mobile number provided. Demand-cum-allotment letter, conveyance deed, and other such documents will also be sent via email.
- The application cannot be withdrawn once submitted.
- PMAY (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) benefits are applicable to first-time buyers.
- Income of applicants in the EWS category cannot exceed Rs 3 lakh per year. No income limit on other categories.
- No documents like identity proof, income proof, etc will be needed at the time of application but only before issuance of possession letter.
- The applicant should be over 18 years old.
- The allotments will be made through a computerized draw of all eligible applicants based on a random number technique. It will be held in the presence of independent observers and will be web-streamed.
