On Saturday, the US-based e-commerce portal announced that Indian consumers can now even take on to their site for domestic flight booking apart from shopping, money transfers, mobile and DTH recharges and utility bill payments.

To launch the service, the company has tied-up with travel portal Cleartrip. "We are excited to partner with Cleartrip and share their passion of creating best in class travel experiences," Shariq Plasticwala, Director, Amazon Pay, said in a statement. Also, the company's director said, on cancellation of the air ticket, no additional charges will be levied upon the customers apart from the usual cancellation penalty which they would need to bear anyhow.
The icon for the flights booking is available on the Amazon Pay page on the site as well as a mobile app.
"Were delighted to add domestic flight bookings enabling customers to do more with their Amazon app and for prime members to get more value from their membership," Plasticwala added.
