Viral Acharya Quits As RBI's Deputy Governor: Report
Deputy RBI Governor, Viral Acharya who was very vocal when it came to RBI's autonomy, has reportedly quit six months before the scheduled end of his term.
According to a Business Standard report, Acharya, who joined the central back on January 23, 2017, was RBI's youngest deputy governor post economic liberalisation.

Seniormost Deputy governor N Vishwanathan, who was to retire next month, may be asked to stay back.
