Vistara will be using ex-Jet Airways aircraft to launch its first international flight in August. The youngest Indian airline will commence its flights from Delhi to Singapore on 6 August and from Mumbai to Singapore on 7 August.

The carrier will be using ex-Jet Airways' Boeing 737-800 with two-class cabin configuration (business and economy) for the route. In its introductory offer on the services, fares on Mumbai-Singapore route start at Rs 20,778 and on the Delhi-Singapore route, it commences at Rs 21,877.
"Customers can also take convenient one-stop connections to and from several other Indian cities beyond Delhi and Mumbai, including but not limited to Amritsar, Chandigarh, Jammu, Lucknow, Ranchi, Raipur, Srinagar and Varanasi. The airline will soon expand its international network further to other destinations," Vistara said in a statement.
The Tata SIA Airlines Limited, which is a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines and operates under the brand Vistara, received permission to operate on international routes from the Ministry of Civil Aviation in March.
News reports earlier this month suggested that the Tata group, which has two joint ventures in the aviation space (AirAsia and Vistara), had been looking to bid on grounded Jet Airways aircraft (Boeings) following the bankruptcy resolution, to scale up its business.
