Novartis India Dividend: Shares of pharmaceutical firm Novartis India are enjoying significant attention from investors ahead of the record date. The company had declared 500% dividend for its shareholders in May.
Novartis India shares were trading 0.29% higher at Rs 1063.45 per share on BSE on Friday at 12:51 pm. The company scrip had touched an intraday high mark of Rs 1,248 per share on BSE, and an intraday low mark of Rs 744.95 per share on BSE.

The company had announced a final dividend of Rs 25 per share with a face value of Rs 5 each for the financial year 2024-25. The dividend payout will be carried out only after the approval from the annual general meeting (AGM).

"The Board has recommended the final dividend of INR 25/- per equity share (of the face value of INR 5/- each) for the financial year ended as on March 31 , 2025 subject to the approval of the shareholders in the ensuing Annual General Meeting of the Company. Accordingly, the declaration of Final Dividend, if approved by the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting of the Company, shall be paid within prescribed timelines as per the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and rules made thereunder," read a BSE filing released in May.
Novartis India Dividend Record Date: How To Become Eligible For Payout?
The company has fixed 23 July as the dividend record date to determine the eligibility of the shareholders for the payout. To become eligible for Novartis India dividend, it is important for investors to own the company shares on or before the dividend record date.
"The payment of dividend, if approved at the AGM, will be made to those members whose names will be on the Company's Register of Members as on the date of book closure and to those whose names will appear as Beneficial Owners as at the close of the business hours on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 as per the details to be furnished by the Depositories, viz. National Securities Depository Limited ('NSDL') and Central Depository Services (India) Limited ('CDSL') for this purpose," notified the company in its release.
Additionally, the register of Members ad Share Transfer Books will remain shut from July 24 to July 31 for determining the eligibility of shareholders and the dividend payout.
Novartis India Share Price Trend
Novartis India shares opened marginally higher at Rs 1070 per share on BSE on Friday. THe stock touched its 52-week high mark of Rs 1,248 per share on 26 September, 2024. Whereas, the scrip fell to its 52-week low mark of Rs 744.95 per share on 18 March, 2025. Novartis India share price value has increased by 29% in three months and by 12% since the beginning of the year 2025. The stock value has declined around 10.67% in one year.
