Dividend declared: Shares ADC India surged 5.6% on Wednesday, a day after the smallcap stock declared 250% dividend for financial year 2024-25 (FY25) on Tuesday. The wired and data telecommunications network company also fixed record date to determine eligibility of shareholders for interim dividend payment.
ADC India had declared an interim dividend of Rs 25 per equity share of Rs 10 each, equivalent to 250%.

"We wish to inform you that the Board of Directors of the Company at their meeting held today i.e., March 25, 2025 have declared an Interim Dividend of Rs. 25/- per equity share of Rs. 10/- each (i.e.250%) for the Financial Year 2024-25," the company said in its stock exchange filing on Tuesday.

ADC India Communications fixed April 2 as the record date for the interim dividend announced yesterday. Record date is fixed by a company to determine the eligibility of its shareholders for benefits of corporate announcements like dividend, bonus shares, etc.
"The Record date for the purpose of determining the Shareholders eligible to receive the aforesaid Interim Dividend is Wednesday, April 02, 2025."

The interim dividend will be paid on or before April 23, 2025. According to the company's exchange filing, the announced interim dividend will be subject to tax deduction at source as per the Income Tax Act, 1961.

If you are willing to become eligible for ADC India dividend payment, then it is mandatory for you to own the company shares on or before the interim dividend record date, ie April 2.

The smallcap stock' value surged over 5.59% to close at Rs 1248.25 per share on BSE on Wednesday. The stock's market capitalisation stood at Rs 574 crore. The stock surged to its 52-week-high mark of Rs 2,309.70 per share on 8 July, 2024. Whereas, the company's stock price dipped to its 52-week-low mark of Rs 860 per share on BSE on 23 March, 2024.

This is not the first time when the smallcap stock has declared a dividend of 250% for its shareholders. ADC India had announced a special 250% dividend worth Rs 25 per share on 30 May, 2024. Alongwith this, it had announced a final dividend of Rs 5 per share for its shareholders. In May 2023, the company had announced a 40% dividend for its shareholders.
The dividend was paid on on July 24, 2023. Prior to that, ADC India's eligible shareholders received a 100% dividend with a share value of Rs Rs.10 per equity share with a face value of Rs 10 on July 21, 2022. The dividend was announced on May 28, 2022.
