Bajaj Chetak C25 E-Scooter Launch: Bajaj Auto launched its brand new Chetak C25 electric scooter on Wednesday, January 14. The latest electric scooter in the Chetak family is likely to boost the company's presence in the EV market. The Bajaj Chetak C25 E-Scooter comes with a neo-tribe vibe, sleek design and a new look.
For all the EV enthusiasts who were eagerly waiting for the launch of the new electric scooter, here are all the details about the Bajaj Chetak C25 E-Scooter.

Bajaj Chetak C25 E-Scooter Launch Date
Bajaj Auto launched its new Chetak C25 electric scooter at a starting price of Rs 91,399 (ex-showroom). The model's price is slightly lesser than the standard Chetak and targets urban riders looking for an affordable electric option, while still aiming to keep the familiar Chetak style and features.
Styling on the Bajaj Chetak C25 electric scooter remains neo-retro, similar to the earlier Chetak. It continues with the signature horseshoe-shaped LED headlamp and a clean front apron. Subtle creases add character without making the design busy, while the side panels now carry fresh graphics that help visually separate the C25 from its sibling.
Bajaj Chetak C25 Electric Scooter Design
The new model is redesigned with a rear tail section at the back side and a new tail lamp unit. The scooter will continue to have the full metallic body, which is one of the key Unique Selling Point (USP) of Bajaj Auto in the EV scooter market. The C25 also provides 25 litres of under-seat storage, enough for daily items like a small bag or rain gear.
Bajaj Chetak C25 Electric Scooter Colour Options
The newly launched electric scooter model will come in more than four colour options like Racing Red, Misty Yellow, Ocean Teal, Active Black, Opalescent Silver and Classic White. The instrument cluster is embedded with a colour LCD screen. Bajaj Chetak C25 owners would be able to pair their smartphones and can even make a call and receive message alerts.
Bajaj Chetak C25 Electric Scooter Key Features
The Bajaj Chetak C25 electric scooter uses a 2.5 kWh battery pack placed under the floorboard to lower the centre of gravity. Bajaj Auto claims a riding range of 113 km on a single charge under standard test conditions, aimed at covering normal daily commutes within cities without frequent charging stops.
The battery on the Bajaj Chetak C25 electric scooter can charge from 0 to 80 percent in 2 hours and 25 minutes using the supplied charger. Bajaj Auto fits a 750W onboard charger, which is stated to take under 4 hours for a full charge from empty. A hub-mounted motor handles drive duties, while suspension uses a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear.
