BCL Industries: Shares of Ethanol Manufacturing Company Surges 10%, Hits 52W-High

On Thursday, the shares of ethanol manufacturing company BCL Industries were registering a rise of about 10 percent and were functioning at the level of Rs 82.35.

With this, shares of BCL Industries with market cap of Rs 2190 crore had touched a 52-week high. From a 52-week low of Rs 37.97, BCL Industries shares have given bumper returns of more than 100 percent to investors.

In the last 5 days, BCL Industries shares have given a return of 4.31 percent to the investors. The shares of BCL Industries have given a bumper return of 80 percent to the investors from the low level of Rs. 46 on August 16.

On February 15, 2023, shares of BCL Industries were at the level of Rs 42.52 from where investors have got a return of 90 percent. BCL Industries shares have given a return of 570 percent to investors from the low of Rs. 12 on March 5, 2021.

BCL Industries Limited has said that in the third quarter of the current financial year, the company's income from operations stood at Rs 494.66 crore, which was Rs 385.82 crore in the previous quarter and Rs 448.70 crore in the third quarter of the last financial year.

BCL Industries has said that its profit after tax in the third quarter of the current financial year stood at Rs 24.11 crore, which was Rs 12.83 crore in the previous quarter and Rs 25.16 crore in the third quarter of the last financial year.

BCL Industries is the only company in India and the South Asian region to have a forward and backward integrated distillery ethanol plant. It is also engaged in the business of edible oils including refined oil. The company reported a net profit at Rs 25.16 crore in its October-December 2022, with a total income of Rs 450.43 crore.
