Bengaluru Airport In Threat: Bomb Blast Warning At 7PM; Full List Of Areas On High Alert

After the Delhi and Jammu & Kashmir blasts, a new threat has emerge. This time the hot target area is alleged to be Bengaluru airport and several malls in the city. A warning has been issued to City Police Commissioner for a bomb blast at 7pm.

Bengaluru Bomb Threat:

The Bengaluru City Police Commissioner received an official email, giving a warning of bomb blasts at the city's Kempegowda International Airport and several malls, as per reports.

ANI reported that Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru City Police, recieved a bomb threat on his official email address on 30 November, targeting Kempegowda International Airport, and various malls in Bengaluru city.

The warning came from a email named 'Mohit kumar'. Following this, an FIR under Section 173 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita was filed in the case.

The email also claimed that this warning is from the Jaish-e-Mohammed White collar terror team.

Bengaluru City Areas Under Threat Are:

Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru, Orion mall, Lulu Mall, Forum South mall, Mantri Square Mall, and Lulu Mall.

The threat mail warned that bomb will blast at 7PM onwards.

Who is Jaish-e-Mohammed?

Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) is a Deobandi-jihadist Pakistani militant group active in Kashmir. The group's primary motive is to separate Jammu and Kashmir from India and integrate it into Pakistan. Since its inception in 2000, the group has carried out several terrorist attacks on civilian, economic, and military targets in India. It portrays Kashmir as a "gateway" to the entire India, whose Muslims it deems to be in need of liberation, as per Wikipedia.
