BIG Ladki Bahin Yojana Update: Maharashtra government has begun releasing the January month instalment of the Ladki Bahin Yojana scheme. Also known as Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, Maharashtra government's flagship welfare scheme offers Rs 1,500 monthly assistance to eligible women.

The state government has initiated the process of distribution of Ladki Bahin Yojana's January instalment, announced Aditi S Tatkare, Minister for Women and Child Development, on February 24.

"The technical process for distributing the January month's honour fund to all eligible beneficiaries under the Chief Minister My Dear Sister Scheme has started from 23 February. In the next 2-3 days, this honour fund will be credited to the Aadhaar-linked bank accounts of all eligible beneficiaries," read a social media post by Tatkare.

Ladki Bahin Yojana Update: When Will You Receive the January Month Instalment?

As the technical process to distribute the Ladki Bahin Yojana instalment began on Tuesday. Most of the scheme beneficiaries are expected to receive the fund by Friday. The fund is transferred via direct benefit transfer in beneficiaries bank account.

Meanwhile, the state government continues to carry out the task to check the authenticity of registered Ladki Bahin Yojana beneficiaries and take action against ineligible beneficiaires. Ladki Bahin Yojana beneficiaries can check the instalment status by following the below mentioned steps.

-Beneficiaries can keep a track for any message update on amount close to Rs 1,500 credited to their bank account.

-They can also visit the branch of their registered bank and check the bank account to know about any recent credit.

What is Ladki Bahin Yojana?
