ChatGPT's Studio Ghibli: Leading AI application, ChatGPT's studio-style Ghibli images have taken social media by storm, with netizens downloading pictures in an anime style. There is a huge demand for generating Ghibli-style images, however, that has started to impact OpenAI's GUT. Hence, in a major setback for users, OpenAI and its CEO Sam Altman have announced limitations to accessing Ghibli. OpenAI paused Ghibli for free users, while Altman announced that it will be available at certain charges.

On March 26, ChatGPT's 4o image generation arrived and immediately bagged popularity.

However, while updating the GPT-4o, on March 27, OpenAI announced that it is only for paid users. The AI giant further added that free users will get access over the next few weeks. However, OpenAI did not specify a timeline for free users.

The latest update in GPT-4o is that it offers more detailed instructions, especially for prompts containing multiple requests, while it has better capability to tackle complex technical and coding problems. Furthermore, intuition and creativity have improved, but emojis are fewer.

Meanwhile, Altman tweeted saying, "It's super fun seeing people love images in ChatGPT," adding, "but our GPUs are melting."

Hence, Altman said, "We are going to temporarily introduce some rate limits while we work on making it more efficient. hopefully won't be long!"

"Chatgpt free tier will get 3 generations per day soon," Altman added.
