The digital asset market witnessed a rally for another day on Wednesday as the price of the world's two largest cryptocurrencies - Bitcoin, and Ethereum along with other altcoins traded in the green zone today.

The global crypto market cap rose 0.83% to $1.34 Trillion. The total crypto market volume over the last 24 hours stood at $47.7 Billion, which makes an 18.94% increase. The total volume in DeFi is currently $5.05 Billion, 10.59% of the total crypto market 24-hour volume. The volume of all stablecoins is now $42.99 Billion, which is 90.12% of the total crypto market 24-hour volume.

Today, Bitcoin price traded above the $35,300 mark as the price of Bitcoin gained 1.40% at $35,317.56 per token. One reason for the surge in Bitcoin's price is the recent rally in the broader digital asset market.
One must note that before tumbling almost 64% last year, Bitcoin had once reached a record $69,000 mark in late 2021.

Ethereum price rose 0.36% at $1,889.54 per token on Wednesday. According to CoinMarketCap data, at the time of writing this article, Ethereum had a market cap of $227,161,053,558. Amidst the current rally in the crypto market, so far Ethereum has faced difficulty in breaking the $1,900 resistance.
