Cryptocurrency Prices Today, July 31: Bitcoin Hovers Near $118K; Ethereum Up 60% In July; Check Latest Prices

The cryptocurrency market wrapped up July on a bullish note with a strong rally across major digital assets. Bitcoin (BTC) surged nearly 12% this month, while Ethereum (ETH) delivered an impressive 60% gain in July, outperforming most top coins. Other leading cryptocurrencies like Ripple (XRP), Binance Coin (BNB), and Solana (SOL) also posted solid monthly gains of around 44%, 23%, and 22%, respectively.

While the US Federal Reserve's decision to keep interest rates steady briefly triggered a dip in leading cryptocurrencies, both Bitcoin and Ethereum managed to hold key support levels.

Ethereum continues to lead the DeFi and smart contract space, and with a whopping 60.37% YTD gain, it's one of the best-performing large-cap cryptos in 2025. If momentum continues, ETH could potentially break the $4,000 resistance level.
