Republic Day Parade Traffic Advisory Delhi: Access to Central Delhi, Connaught Place, South-West

For movement between East Delhi and South-West Delhi during the rehearsal days, the advisory recommended Ring Road via Vande Mataram Marg. This corridor will help traffic bypass the core parade zone near Kartavya Path and surrounding government areas while keeping journey times reasonable.

People travelling from South Delhi towards Connaught Place and the Central Secretariat have been given several options. One route is Mother Teresa Crescent via Park Street, moving towards Mandir Marg or Baba Kharak Singh Marg. These stretches provide entry into the Connaught Place and central administrative zone.

Another suggested path to Connaught Place is Ring Road via Vande Mataram Marg and Link Road, connecting towards Panchkuian Road. Commuters can also choose Ring Road and Sardar Patel Marg towards 11 Murti, then continue through Mother Teresa Crescent and the RML roundabout, and further take North Avenue or Baba Kharak Singh Marg.

Commuters are required to plan their visits and outings by considering some extra time for travelling while the rehearsals take place near Kartavya Path and Rashtrapati Bhavan. Those with fixed schedules, such as office timings or flight departures, have been encouraged to avoid non-essential trips during the late morning to early afternoon window when diversions remain active.
