Sun TV Network's Q3 FY25 Financial Performance
Sun TV Network reported a 20% year-on-year (YoY) decline in net profit for the December 2024 quarter, reflecting weaker operational performance amid shifting media consumption trends and advertising pressures. The company's net profit stood at Rs.363 crore, down from Rs.453.9 crore in Q3 FY24, while revenue from operations declined 10.4% YoY to Rs.827.6 crore compared to Rs.923.2 crore a year ago. At the operating level, EBITDA dropped 24.6% to Rs.444.3 crore, with the EBITDA margin contracting to 53.7% from 63.8% YoY. Total income also declined to Rs.927.66 crore from ₹1,014.81 crore, while advertisement revenue slipped to Rs.332.17 crore from Rs.355.43 crore in the previous year's quarter. Additionally, profit before tax fell to Rs.454.61 crore from Rs.591.31 crore YoY.
