Investors and shareholders of companies keenly await for a stock to trade ex-dividend as it holds special importance in terms of investment perspective. Investors who bought the stock before the ex-dividend date are eligible for the next dividend payment while those who bought the stock on the ex-dividend date, or after, are not entitled to receive the next dividend payment.

Infosys, Astral, and LTI Mindtree To Trade Ex-Dividend Next Week:
Infosys
IT giant Infosys will trade ex-dividend for Rs 18 per share interim dividend on October 25. The record date for the said dividend is also October 25. Infosys shares closed 0.44% lower at Rs 1427.20 per share on Friday.
The dividend payout is expected to be on or before November 6.
The company had declared a total dividend of Rs 34 per equity share for the last financial year. In its earnings for the second quarter of FY24 announced last week that the Bengaluru-based company reported 3.17% growth in net profit Rs 6,212 crore, compared to Rs 6,012 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Astral
Astral has announced an interim dividend of Rs 1.5. The stock will trade ex-dividend on October 27, and the same is its record date.
The share price of Astral Ltd ended 0.11% lower at Rs 1841.25 per share on Friday.
L&T Tech
L&T Tech announced an interim dividend of Rs 17 for which it shall trade ex-dividend on October 27. The same is its ex-record date. L&T Tech shares closed 1.27% lower at Rs 4310.90 per share on Friday. L&T Tech shares will trade ex-dividend on October 27
