Don't Ignore This! Android Users On Older Versions at High Risk of Data Breach; CERT-In Issues Warning

The cybersecurity agency of India, the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), has issued a high-severity alert for all Android users in India. In the advisory dated 11 April, the agency points to multiple critical vulnerabilities in Android operating systems that could be exploited by attackers to steal personal data from your mobile phone. The hacker will also be able to gain access or even crash devices entirely. The advisory strongly urges users to upgrade to Android versions 13, 14, or 15 immediately to protect themselves.

According to CERT-In, Android versions prior to 13, 14, and 15 are vulnerable.
