Vinayak Godse, Chief Executive of the Data Security Council of India (DSCI), emphasised the organisation's efforts to create a global network of cybersecurity experts. DSCI is actively engaging with professionals worldwide to foster collaboration among Indian cybersecurity specialists and their international counterparts. This initiative aims to build a robust international network.

Godse highlighted the importance of these interactions during the India-Singapore Cyber Security Conclave 2025. He mentioned that similar events are planned in various regions, including an upcoming India-US Cyber Security Conclave in San Francisco next week. These gatherings serve as platforms for professionals to exchange ideas and enhance industry-government engagement.
Cybersecurity Collaboration and Partnerships
Godse explained that these conclaves aim to unite cybersecurity professionals and explore how industry systems can contribute to government-level initiatives. He stressed the need for international partnerships, as cybersecurity challenges require a comprehensive understanding and collaborative efforts across borders.
Singapore was chosen as a starting point due to its significant Indian expert presence and its role as a regional hub for global corporations. Indian IT hubs like Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Pune also play crucial roles in this collaborative effort.
Upcoming Global Conclaves
DSCI has scheduled future conclaves in Dubai in May and Riyadh in November. These events will include participation from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, further expanding the network of cybersecurity experts. Godse noted that these initiatives are not confined to one level but aim for international collaboration and learning.
"As such, this conclave is an effort to bring people from cyber security together and see how from the industry system and ecosystem we can add value to what is happening to government-to-government level," said Godse.
The conclaves provide a platform for professionals to share insights and strategies, enhancing the overall cybersecurity landscape. By fostering international cooperation, DSCI aims to address global cybersecurity challenges more effectively.
