On Friday, the finance ministry provided details on the progress it made on various schemes it announced in the Atmanirbhar Bharat Package. The ministry informed that around 50% of its loans have been disbursed under the Rs 3 lakh crore collateral-free loan schemes for MSMEs called the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) announced in May.
"Loans worth Rs 2.05 lakh crore have been sanctioned to over 80 lakh accounts, of which Rs 1.58 lakh crore have been disbursed to over 40 lakh accounts," it noted about its progress on ECLGS.

The ministry further noted that Rs 25,000 crore has been disbursed from Additional Emergency Working Capital Funding for farmers through NABARD. A special refinance facility of Rs 30,000 crore was sanctioned by NABARD during COVID-19 to Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) and Cooperative Banks.
With regard to farmer aid, the finance ministry stated that 169.77 lakh Kisan Credit Card (KCC) holders with KCC limit of about Rs 1.54 lakh crore have been covered under the Special KCC Saturation Drive for farmers. The government had announced coverage to 2.5 crore farmers under the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) scheme with a credit boost of Rs 2 lakh crore through a special saturation drive.
Further, Rs 775 crore has been released to Small Industries Bank Of India (SIDBI) under the Rs 1,500 crore interest subvention scheme applicable on loans from the Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency (MUDRA).
"Of this Rs 206.73 cr already disbursed to Member Lending Institutions (MLIs)," it said.
The ministry noted 39 proposals worth Rs 11,120 crore have been approved under the Rs 30,000 crore Special Liquidity Scheme for non-banking finance companies (NBFCs) and housing finance companies (HFCs).
