E-commerce giants Flipkart and Amazon India are gearing up for their annual festive sales starting on September 26, as announced by both companies. These sales will initially be accessible to their paid subscribers before opening to all customers.

Flipkart's The Big Billion Days (TBBD) 2024 will be available to all shoppers from September 27, 2024. However, VIP and Flipkart Plus members will enjoy a 24-hour early access starting on September 26, 2024. The company has prepared for the festival demand by ensuring same-day delivery across over 20 cities with more than 2 lakh product categories.
Amazon Great Indian Festival
Amazon India will also commence its annual festive sale, the Amazon Great Indian Festival (AGIF), on September 27, 2024. Prime members will have early access starting September 26, 2024. Amazon stated that over 14 lakh sellers would offer crores of products on Amazon.in during this period.
Flipkart has announced that this year's TBBD will feature a 20% increase in seller rewards and new customer constructs aimed at helping sellers maximise their growth potential during the festive season. The Walmart group firm is also creating over 1 lakh new jobs across its supply chain in India and enhancing its logistics capabilities to ensure faster and reliable deliveries in both metro and non-metro areas.
Myntra's Big Fashion Festival
Myntra, Flipkart's fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platform, will start its annual sale on September 25. Myntra Insiders, members of Myntra's loyalty program, will get early access to the Big Fashion Festival on the same date. The sale will open to everyone on September 26. This year's festival will showcase around 3.4 million styles, a significant increase of 47% from the previous edition.
Flipkart has emphasised its readiness to meet the festival demand with enhanced logistics and delivery services. The company aims to provide same-day delivery in over 20 cities and has expanded its product categories significantly.
Amazon's AGIF promises a wide range of products from numerous sellers, ensuring customers have plenty of options to choose from during the festive season. Both companies are focusing on providing a seamless shopping experience with faster deliveries and extensive product selections.
The upcoming festive sales by Flipkart and Amazon India are set to offer customers a variety of products with attractive deals and discounts.
