Gold Price India, June 20: 24K/100 Grams Gold Jumps By Rs 2,200, Sharp Jump In Silver

Gold prices in India today jumped as softer US economic date raised the possibilities of interest rate cuts from Federal Reserve this year. 22k gold price today jumped by Rs 200 to Rs 66,400/10 grams and 100 grams of 22 carat yellow metal prices rallied by Rs 2000 to Rs 6,64,000 in India on June 20, 2024. 24K yellow metal prices today surged by Rs 220 to Rs 72,440/10 grams in the country and 100 grams of 24k gold prices spiked by Rs 2,200 to Rs 7,24,400 on June 20, 2024.

18K gold prices today witnessed rally of Rs 170 to settle at Rs 54,330/10 grams and 100 grams of 18 carat gold prices today are quoting Rs 5,43,300 after jump by Rs 1700.

According to Reuters, "I am still favouring moves to the upside for the gold market in light of where we currently stand on the interest rate curve, which is at the peak," said Tim Waterer, chief market analyst at KCM Trade. "The gold market seems content to consolidate recent gains rather than reach higher at this stage, at least until we see some further evidence of softening U.S. macro data, which could alter the interest rate outlook," added Tim Waterer.

Spot Gold, Spot Silver Prices Today: Spot gold surged 0.2% at $2,331.38 per ounce, as of 0126 GMT. US gold futures edged 0.1% lower to $2,345.00. Spot silver gained 0.5% to $29.91 per ounce, platinum fell 0.2% at $978.42 and palladium lost 0.2% to $903.25, according to Reuters.

Silver Prices Today: Silver prices today witnessed sharp rally by Rs 1500 to Rs 92,500 and 100 grams of silver prices today got dearer by Rs 150 to Rs 9,250.
