Sundar Pichai shared the dates on X (formerly Twitter), inviting global audiences to join the event starting May 19. Shortly after arriving in India, Pichai also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the AI Impact Summit.

Artificial intelligence is expected to dominate the agenda at Google I/O 2026, reflecting intense global competition in the AI space.
