The upcoming India Energy Week 2025, set for February 11 in the National Capital, is poised to become the second-largest energy event globally. Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri announced this on Friday, highlighting its significance in terms of participation, exhibition space, and sessions. The event aims to showcase India's leadership in sustainable energy solutions and promote global collaboration.

A notable feature of the event will be the Clean Cooking Ministerial, which aims to boost global adoption of clean cooking solutions. This initiative aligns with India's commitment to energy equity and sustainability. The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) will be prominently featured, offering insights as a model for addressing energy access challenges worldwide.
Global Participation and Expansion
India Energy Week 2025 is expected to attract ministers, CEOs, and industry leaders from around the world. The exhibition space will expand by 65% to 28,000 square meters compared to the previous edition. Additionally, the number of conference sessions will increase to 105, with over 70,000 global delegates anticipated.
The event will feature over 500 speakers, including key international figures, underscoring its growing global importance. Ten country pavilions from nations like the US, UK, Russia, Japan, Germany, and the Netherlands will be present. Eight thematic zones will focus on hydrogen, renewables, biofuels, and petrochemicals.
Key Themes and International Representation
India Energy Week 2025 will explore vital themes such as energy security, orderly transitions, collaboration, resilience, capacity building, and digital advancements. Over 20 foreign energy ministers or deputy ministers are expected to attend. Heads of International Organizations and 90 CEOs from Fortune 500 energy companies will also participate.
The event's scale and participation are set to surpass previous editions significantly. This reflects India's growing influence in shaping global energy transition dialogues. The government emphasized that these developments highlight India's leadership role in ensuring access to sustainable and affordable energy solutions globally.
