A media report said that Bharat Global Developers Ltd. (BGDL) has been awarded a contract of Rs 120 crores from Reliance Industries Ltd. This contract includes the construction of a high-capacity fluidised catalytic cracker (FCC) unit, an integral component of refining in today's era. This recent win further establishes BGDL's budding reputation as an industrial engineering specialist as it undertakes more complex, high-value projects for major industry players in India. The contract is consistent with BGDL's targeted growth strategy in Green Energy, Defense and AgriTech sectors, indicating the company's strong perspective regarding the opportunities in the country's industrial sector.

As stipulated in the current deal, BGDL will prepare the design and perform the construction of a Full-Fledged High-Capacity FCC unit which is a more advanced refinery system designed to enhance the cracking of hydrocarbons in order to create valuable fuels such as gasoline and diesel. This FCC unit will be enhanced in the application of BGDL's construction methodologies with regard to the optimization of space and efficiency in processing to enable the unit to ensure maximum production with the minimum possible physical footprint. This world-class plant will augment the refining capacity of Reliance, catering to the ever-increasing market need for improved and effective refinery solutions. With the undertaking of this work, BGDL maintains its position within the leading industrial engineering companies in India practice and undertakes precision-engineered works that comply with high-quality and effective operational requirements.
BGDL has been rapidly expanding its horizons into new opportunities across several sectors with high growth potential. The company has been strengthening its stance in the renewable space through Bharat Global Green Energy Pvt Ltd with sustainability-focused projects. In the defence engineering segment, with its subsidiary Bharat Global Aerospace & Defense Pvt Ltd, BGDL is helping further the 'Make in India' initiative by promoting local sourcing in certain critical industries. Also, in the course of the year, BGDL's AgriTech division, Bharat Global AgroTech Pvt Ltd also won a ₹300 crore contract from McCain India further proving BGDL's diversification and large-scale penetration in various industries. Further, this new contract with Reliance enhances BGDL's strengths in industrial infrastructure and demonstrates its flexibility and edge in engineering activities.

Enjoying favourable regulatory and private investments, the Indian infrastructure and industrial engineering segments are expected to grow rapidly to meet the country's requirements of self-sustainability in important industries. According to reports, India's infrastructure space can be over USD 1.4 trillion by the year 2025, creating a high demand for high-end infrastructure requirements such as FCC units essential for refining. As the country demands high-end self-reliant refining systems, the need for advanced engineering solutions offered by BGDL will certainly increase.

Through this FCC contract, BGDL has a good opportunity to capitalize on this increased need, thus paving the way for more high-value contracts in the near future. This contract is more than just a success for BGDL; it serves as a testament of the company's capacity to deliver quality and technologically advanced solutions in a competitive market. BGDL is poised to cement its place as a key player in India's industrial and infrastructure engineering space as the company broadens the range of projects it undertakes.
